In this practical, hands-on workshop, led by members of CCTV’s production team, learn how to boost your development and communications skills and efforts by producing cost-effective, resonant video content on your smart phone. By attending this workshop you will:
- Understand the pillars of strategic communications to help you determine the most appropriate use for short form and mobile video.
- Review examples of effective short form/ mobile video to inspire you to think of new ways to telling stories.
- Gain an overview of the variety of online/ mobile video tools/ formats to help you tell that story.
- Gain a working understanding of how to use most common mobile video applications (e.g. Mix Bit).
- Learn about alternative distribution outlets.
- Practice producing a short mobile video on your device.
- Share your work!
Participants are encouraged to bring their mobile devices, and, if possible, download Mixbit for use during the session.
