Essex Junction Trustees 03/23/2010
The Essex Junction Trustees is the governing, legislative body for the Municipality of the Village of Essex Junction. The five member board is elected at large within the Village. The board includes the position of Village President. Unlike the appointed chairs of select boards or city councils, the position of president is elected by Australian ballot by Village voters. The three year terms of the Trustees are staggered to provide continuity. The Trustees usually meet twice per month on Tuesday evenings in the meeting room at the Village municipal office building at Five Corners The public is invited to attend all meetings, and may address the board or ask questions during a special “public to be heard” section at the beginning of each meeting.

Making Room for Cars and People 03/03/2010
Village Development Director, Robin Pierce, presents a possible future for the Village Center. The discussion will focus on the potential to move traffic more efficiently through the Five Corners, reduce congestion and its attendant pollution, while encouraging economic development, and making the Village Center more pedestrian friendly.
Essex Junction Planning Commission 02/18/2010
The five members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Village Trustees. The commission meets on the first and third Thursday of each month to review development applications, update the Land Development Code and assist in the update of the Comprehensive Plan.
