CCTV's Center for Media & Democracy provides the training, tools and channels that activists, nonprofits, local governments and media makers use to expand their reach and impact:
> TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES - The Center for Media & Democracy can meet the technical service requirements of small and medium sized enterprises--from computer installation and network management to web development/ maintenance and database design. - Rates: Technical Service Calls are billed at $100/ hour plus travel expenses. Member Rate: $85/ hour. Site Visits (1 hour minimum). Help-Desk (1/2 hour minimum). Materials are billed at cost plus. Estimates are available at no cost and are good for 60 days. Clients are billed monthly for these engagements.
> STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTING - Nonprofits
and activists are encouraged to plan their media and communications strategy based on their key audiences and key messages. Strategic Communications Workshops are offered for new members at no cost to jump start your Plan. Additional consulting is scheduled by appointment through our Member Services Coordinator, Sam Mayfield at 802.862.1645 x19 or smayfield [at] cctv [dot] org.
- Rates: Communications Consulting for planning, design, building of projects is billed at $100/hour plus travel expenses. Member Rate: $85/hour. Two hour minimum. (Pricing does not including third party vendors). Clients are billed monthly.
> CCTV PRODUCTIONS is the award winning video & media production service that delivers high quality, affordable production services for event coverage, public information videos and web projects. Schedule a meeting to discuss and estimate your project with Jess Wilson, Executive Producer, at 802.862.1645 x15 or jwilson [at] cctv [dot] org.
- Rates: Video Project planning, scripting, production, and editing rates start at $125/ hour plus travel and materials. Member Rate: 15% discount. Call for an estimate.
> CCTV DUPLICATION & DISTRIBUTION can make 1 or 500 DVD copies of programs produced by Channel 17 or other sources in DVD formats. We can also distribute via US Mail, internet file exchange or web links. Single DVD copies begin at $20 with multiple copies running as low as $2.75 a piece. Postal handling starts at $5.00. Transfer
of video from other formats to DVD is billed at our hourly rate of $100/ hour
($85/hour for members).

Vermont Media Exchange (VMX) gets your programs around the state quickly. VMX is a broadcast video file sharing network of Vermont's public access channels. Channel 17 will distribute your program for a modest fee. Contact Jess for a more specific estimate at 802.862.1645 x15 or jwilson [at] cctv [dot] org.
- Rates: File preparation and distribution is billed at $85/ hour. One-hour minimum.
