JOB OPENING: Channel 17 Field Producer
Channel 17/ Town Meeting Television airs muncipal meetings and public events on Comcast and Burlington Telecom in the communities of Burlington, South Burlington, Essex, Essex Junction, Winooski, Williston and Colchester.
Channel 17 is hiring one part-time Field Producer to cover Chittenden County municipal meetings and public events to air on its government access TV channels and website (www.Channel17.org). Meetings typically take place during evening hours with some weekend event coverage. Complete Job Description is available upon request.
Qualifications for the position: Demonstrated video production experience in field settings. Interest in transparent and open local government. Customer service focus. Experience working with the public. Attention to detail. Verbal abilities. Capable math skills. Professional presentation. Able to work evenings (a must). Able to lift up to 45 pounds. Valid Drivers License. Available and functioning vehicle.
Pay Range: $15 - $17/ hour (Depending on experience and skill).
