Marriage Veto Override Debate, Live Web Streaming - VT Legislature

CCTV-Channel 17/Town Meeting TV will web stream live the Vermont legislature's debate to override the VT Governor's veto of same sex marriage legislation on Tuesday, April 7. The session is expected to start at 9 a.m. Check here for more exact details.

The legislation, S.115, to approve marriage for same sex couples passed in the VT Senate and House in April 2009. Governor Jim Douglas has vetoed this legislation and today the house takes up debate as to whether or not to override this veto.
