Prepare Now: Make an appointment with your legislator. Let them know you are coming and that you'd like to speak with them while you are there. They will be on the look-out for you. Presenters include Kevin Ellis of Kimball, Sherman, and Ellis; Sarah Kenney of the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, Johanna Miller of the Vermont Natural Resources Council, and Sarah Robinson of the Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger.
12 p.m. Welcome: House Speaker Shap Smith and Senate President Pro Tem Peter Shumlin
12:10 – 1 p.m. Forum: What is the Future for Vermont’s Nonprofit Sector in Tough Economic Times? (Room 11) - Moderated by Bill Schubart with Stuart Comstock-Gay Vermont Community Foundation, Tim Shea, Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce, Senator Susan Bartlett, Chair Senate Appropriations, Rep. Ann Pugh, Chair House Human Services.
