Host Dr. Wetchi interviews Barbara Shaw-Dorso, Conflict Assistance Program Coordinator at the Burlington Community Justice Center. They discuss the conflict assistance program that the center offers. The Conflict Assistance Program (CAP) aims to support Burlington-area residents in addressing conflict constructively, skillfully, and restoratively. They offer both conflict assistance services as well as skill-building opportunities. All of the services are either free or sliding scale. No one is turned away for lack of funds.

The Peacemaker: A Film by James Demo 02/03/2018

"The Peacemaker" follows international peacemaker Padraig O'Malley, who helps make peace for others but struggles to find it for himself.

James Demo created his film "The Peacemaker" about the life and work of international peace negotiator and conflict resolver Padraig O'Malley after hearing his story in the Boston bar The Plough and the Shares. They are traveling with the film which will be premiered to the world on Friday, February 9 at New York City's Cinema Village.

Service Rendered: Straight Talk Vermont 02/29/2016

Executive Director Bruce Wilson, Service Rendered, speaks with interns Lindsay Buckle and Jessica Kearns. Straight Talk Vermont assists incarcerated individuals at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility and Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility with conflict resolution and provide referrals to ensure a positive community re-entry.
