Author, educator and environmentalist Bill McKibben speaks on "Report from the Front Lines of the Climate Fight: Some Jailhouse Notes on the Moral Fight of Our Time" in the wake of President Obama's delay of the pipeline.  The Middelebury College scholar in residence made headlines in 2011 for his arrest at the White House, where he led a protest against Keystone XL, the proposed pipeline that would carry oil from Alberta, Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. The event is sponsored by Cooperative Christian Ministry at UVM, the Honors College, the Provost’s Office, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Rubenstein School of the Environment and Natural Resources, and the Environmental Studies Program.
