Ribbon Cutting of the Vermont National Guard's New Readiness Center 11/04/2010
The Vermont National Guard celebrates a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Ethan Allen Firing Range for its new Readiness Center that will serve as the administrative headquarters for the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team that has spent the last year in Afghanistan. Joining Major General Michael Dubie are Senator Patrick Leahy and Representative Peter Welch, both instrumental in securing the $10million appropriation that funded the Vermont Army National Guard's newest facility.

The Vermont Air National Guard formally opens its new, state of the art Air National Guard F-16 Mission Training Center with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Senior military leadership of the Vermont Air Guard, National Guard Bureau and the United States Air Force will be joined by U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy who sponsored the $15.9 Congressional funding allocation that included this project.
