Current State of Poverty and Impacts on Children in Vermont 12/04/2009
The Vermont child poverty council met with members of Vermonts' social agencies to gage the current state of poverty and impacts on children in Vermont. Panelists: Beth Baldwin Page, Executive Director, Boys and Girls Clubs of Brattleboro, Katina Cummmings, Executive Director, Boys and Girls Club of the White River Valley, Larry Bayle, Executive Director, Boys and Girls Club of Rutland, Vicky Smith, Executive Director, King Street Center, Leisa Pollander, Executive Director, Sara Holbrook Center, and Mary Alice McKenzie, Executive Director, Boys and Girls Club of Burlington. Also State Senator Doug Racine and Rep. Ann Pugh.
