The Northeast Farm to School Conference 05/18/2009
The Northeast Farm to School Conference was held at Champlain College in Burlington May 17 and 18. Monday's keynote speaker was Margaret Krome with opening remarks from Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy. Margaret Krome oversees Michael Fields Agriculture Institute policy program. In this capacity, she coordinates the annual national grassroots campaign to fund federal programs supported by the National Campaign for Sustainable Agriculture.
