Champlain Housing Trust Wins UN Habitat Award

The Champlain Housing Trust announced that UN HABITAT will present the organization with a World Habitat Award at their global celebration of World Habitat Day. This year the celebration will take place in Luanda, Angola on October 6th. Speakers in Burlington event include Senator Bernie Sanders, Congressman Peter Welch, Burlington Mayors Bob Kiss and Peter Clavelle, Brenda Thorpy from Champlain Housing Trust, Sarah Carpenter from VHFA and Gus Seelig from Vermont Housing and Conservation Board.
