Description

Michael Moser coordinates the Vermont State Data Center, a liaison program between the U.S. Census Bureau and Vermont Data Users with support from the State of Vermont. The following brief training module has been produced in collaboration with the VT Data Collaborative. Moser covers several stages of the "data process." This overview is meant only as a guide and should not be considered the only way to think about data. Every individual or organization has its own specific needs and processes. There are five basic stages presented in this data process: the data audit or data catalog stage, data collection, data management, analysis, and finally the data reporting stage.
