Senator Patrick Leahy announces continued funding for parasitic sea lamprey control on Lake Champlain, discussing new data demonstrating that the 20+ year control program is achieving new levels of success as reflected in the improved condition of salmon and trout in Lake Champlain. Leahy is joined at the announcement by Lake Champlain and fishing advocates: James Ehlers of the Lake Champlain International Fishing Derby, Dave Tilton and Dr. Brad Young of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and Vermont Fish & Wildlife Commissioner Patrick Berry.
