Part 2, Where the Rubber Meets the Road. Presented by  KSE Partners and Common Good VermontLobbying & Communications Bootcamp took place at the  State House in Montpelier on Tuesday, November 15. This brass tacks training will help you become better acquainted with advocacy best practices, the legal do's and don'ts of nonprofit lobbying, how to motivate your followers to take action and what really gets lawmaker's and media attention.

This program is geared towards organizations that want to pass legislation and for orgs and activists that want to raise their profile and relevance amongst lawmakers and media.

Join 8 other youth to engage in interesting media making projects! This paid media internship opportunity is designed for youth aged 16-20 who are eager to gain professional experience in the audio-visual field and develop a deeper understanding of their local community. 5 of these spots are specifically for students who are part of the Burlington My Brother's Keeper/My Sister's Keeper programs. The group will meet under the leadership of Town Meeting TV's Travis Washington from the beginning of April 2024 to the end of August 2024, on a schedule agreed upon by the whole cohort.
