The City of Burlington celebrates the fact that the McNeil Plant is now fully paid off. Burlington’s 50 percent share of McNeil will be completely owned by the citizens of Burlington going forward. Making remarks at the celebration are: Senator Bernie Sanders, Mayor of the City at the time McNeil was built, current Mayor Miro Weinberger, General Manager, Barbara Grimes and plant manager John Irving.
