Description

The Vermont National Guard celebrates a long military tradition as Brigadier General Thomas E. Drew, of Florence, assumes the position as the 21st Adjutant General of the State of Vermont from Major General Michael Dubie.
The ceremony takes place at the Green Mountain Armory, in Colchester, and is witnessed by Governor Peter Shumlin, members of Vermont’s Congressional Delegation, New England Adjutants General, and the men and women of the Vermont Army and Air National Guard. The ceremony will culminate with the passing of the Green Mountain Boy Flag from Major General Dubie to Brigadier General Drew, symbolizing the transition of leadership from one to the other.
