Burlington Ward 2 and Ward 3 NPA Meeting 10/08/2015

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to encourage citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies help improve communication between the citizens of Burlington and City government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 2 & 3 meet the second Thursday of the month.

The five members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Village Trustees. The commission meets on the first and third Thursday of each month to review development applications, update the Land Development Code, and assist in the update of the Comprehensive Plan. Essex Planning Commission 09/24/2015

While construction on the Municipal Offices takes place, Planning Commission meetings are being held at the Police Station Community Room. Normally, the Planning Commission meetings are all held at the Town Offices at 81 Main Street in Essex Junction, in the downstairs conference room on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. The public is always welcome, and the meetings start promptly at 6:30 PM. If special accommodations are needed please call 802-878-1343.

The Colchester Development Review Board is charged with processing site plan, subdivision, and conditional use applications and variance requests and appeals of the Zoning Administrator's determinations. Board meetings are at 7:00 PM on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Colchester Meeting House in the Village. Further information on the Board can be obtained by contacting the Department of Planning and Zoning.
