Visualize Burlington in 3D Project 09/29/2009

The first phase of a project to create a comprehensive digital three-dimensional model of downtown and waterfront buildings is presented to the community. The Visualize Burlington 3D project, once completed will present an effective planning tool. Champlain college Emergent Media Center students created theis first phase.

Ward 4 & 7 NPA Meeting 09/22/2009

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 4 & 7 meet the third Tuesday of the month. Meeting place: Robert E. Miller Community Center 130 Gosse Court.

Burlington Telecom Advisory Committee 09/22/2009

The Burlington Telecommunications Advisory Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month. BTAC is responsible for Advising Burlington Telecom on a number of issues from the public's perspective. BTAC deals with buildout issues, some financing and channel addtions or deletions.

CCTV Receives NEH Grant to Support Community Archives

CCTV Center for Media & Democracy is pleased to announce receipt of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant alongside 32 peer archival institutions across the country.
