Interview with Live Show Volunteer Aiden Deutsch

March 20, 2013

Aiden has been showing up for his Friday Live at 5:25 volunteer time for the last two years and we thought it was about time to share his thoughts with you.

Aiden Deutsch:

I started working at channel 17 when I was 11.

I have been the cameraman for a political debate.

I have not had any particularly interesting calls yet.

I have been suprised by my ablity to work under pressure and I have learned how to handle those situations better.

I always remember to stay calm during a live show and always watch out for bad shoots and try to correct them.

I love working the switchboard its always entertaining seeing who is going to talk next and tryng to follow the conversation.

I would recommend this opportunity to other young people interested in film because it introduces them to a real TV working envioronment that not only gets them job experience but a chance to do what they love.

I would honestly have to give myself an A, I have always tried my hardest at this show and love the opportunity to work here.

Outside of the station, I work primarily on stop motion animation as an art form.
In the next ten years I would love to be working on another film project possibly in NYC or Hollywood.
