Colin Robinson from the Peace and Justice Center leads this press conference on 'Paid Sick Days'. Dr. Jan Carney and 3rd year student Joanne Conant from the UVM College of Medicine present a study demonstrating that lack of paid sick days is a risk to children. Rep. Paul Poirier outlines legislation (H.382) introduced to fix the situation. Lou Ann Beninati, Director of Robin’s Nest Children’s Center, gives the perspective of the education community when children are sent to childcare or school ill.
