Hoy 4 de Abril! Hablaremos del arresto de 3 compañeros de la comunidad aqui en Vermont; ellos estaban y trabajabando y viviendo en un rancho lechero en Sheldon Vermont. POLIMIGRA-hablaremos de los cambios la ley Polimigra; como nos afecta y que es lo mas importante a saber de los cambios y que podemos hacer juntos para que Vermont respete los derechos de todos y no sea una maquina de deportacion con apoyo de la policia. Tambien daremos un informe del programa Leche con Dignidad!

POLIMIGRA-We will talk about the changes in the Polimigra law; how it affects us and what is most important to know about the changes and what we can do together so that Vermont respects the rights of all and does not become a deportation machine with the support of the police. We will also give a report of the Milk with Dignity program!

En este episodio, se recordando en el primer de Marzo, hablamos del arresto y liberacion de Jose Luis "Un triunfo mas de la comunidad". Tenemos entrevista con Martha Herrera que nos cuenta sobre el viaje a Florida con la Coalicion De Trabajadore De Emokalee (CIW) y la "Huelga de Hambre en NY del 11-15 de Marzo por la misma". Hablaremos de como los testimonios en la casa del estado y presencia de la comunidad ha tenido impacto sobre el senado, el cual decidio mandar una carta para aplazar la fecha de implementacion de los cambios en la ley "Polimigra" hasta 1 de Mayo.

Enrique Balcazar entrevista por telefono a compa Ivan Dominguez sobre Polimigra y la audiencia publica que se abrio la semana pasada en la casa del estado para escuchar testimonios de la comunidad. Tambien compartimos un triunfo mas! la liberacion del compa Francisco Casarrubias y hablamos sobre la lucha DACA y que hemos estado haciendo para que Vermont no apoye un proyecto de ley que da dinero al muro y las deportaciones masivas a cambio de mantener DACA.

Enrique Balcazar interviewed by telephone Ivan Dominguez about Polimigra and the public hearing that was opened last week at the statehouse to hear testimonies from the migrant community. We also share one more triumph! The release of Francisco Casarrubias and we talked about the DACA struggle and what we have been doing so that Vermont does not support a bill that gives money to the wall and mass deportations in exchange for maintaining DACA.

Seguimos en la lucha por mantener la politica No Mas Polimigra (FIPP); porque la el comite encargado de actualizar la ley, voto para cambios importantes donde la policia puede colaborar con agentes de Migracion; Cuales son esos cambios? Que es lo mas importante saber?. Tambien Hablaremos del arresto de un compañero que trabajaba en un rancho al norte del estado, fue detenido empezando el año.

We have information and some tips for these temperatures. We continue in the struggle to maintain the policy No More Polimigra (Fair and Impartial Policing Policy); because the committee in charge of updating the law, vote for important changes where the police can collaborate with immigration agents; What are these changes? A Visit With: Off the Wall Visits the Burlington Mayor's Office 01/02/2018

Community Producer Margaret Harrington heads to Burlington's City Hall with Albert Petrarca, of Off the Wall Coalition, to find out how the Mayor will respond to the Church Street mural accusations of racism and white supremacy. Off the Wall Coalition presents Mayor Miro Weinberger's Chief of Staff, Brian Lowe, with the demand that the mayor withdraws his consent to being in the existing Marketplace Mural.

También invitan a la comunidad a la fiesta anual de Justicia Migrante el 18 de noviembre.

Enrique and Zully talk about the Milk with Dignity campaign victory. They will talk about how workers organized to sign the agreement with ice cream giant Ben & Jerry's and what this means for the community. They also invite the community out to Migrant Justice's annual party on November 18th.

Enrique Balcazar, Zully Palacios, and Martha Herrera speak about the upcoming "Human Rights Cannot Wait" tour along the east coast to promote the "Milk with Dignity" campaign and build pressure on Ben & Jerry's to make good on their commitment to the human rights of dairy workers. The episode also includes updates on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and driver's licenses in Vermont.
