Leppzer made the film over a period of 5 years following citizen activists and elected officials with his camera as they battled nuclear officials about the increasing safety violations at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant. Maggie and Arnie Gundersen of Fairewinds Energy Education join the discussion to tell the story of how their research exposed Vermont Yankee officials.

Nuclear Free Future: Nobel Peace Prize 2017 - International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons 10/09/2017

Host Margaret Harrington reads the letter to supporters from the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) on their winning the Nobel Peace Prize. The nine nations who have nuclear weapons have not signed the treaty to abolish nuclear weapons. They are the United States, China, Russia, Great Britain, France, India, Israel, Pakistan, and North Korea. ICAN modeled their campaign on the International Campaign to Ban Landmines which with its American Coordinator, Jody Williams, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. Jody Williams speaks in Vermont at the first statewide Nuclear Disarmament Day observed on August 6th, the day the United States bombed Hiroshima.

Veritas: Victims of Industrial Wind 03/04/2016

Host Brett Gaskill speaks with Steven and Luann Therrien on their experience with an industrial wind project in Sheffield, VT. The Sheffield project consists of 16 turbines. The nearest turbine to the Therrien's home was less than 3/4 of a mile away. 5 were within 1 mile, and all 16 within 2 miles. The Therriens moved from Sheffield after 18 years due to the health problems they faced.

Public Service Board Public Hearing South Burlington Solar Project 06/01/2010

The Vermont Public Service Board public hearing the planned construction of 380 solar panels, on a nearly 40 acre parcel of land in South Burlington, of of Dubois Drive. The panels will sit atop computerized trackers that automatically track the sun across the sky, and are expected to produce enough energy to power 400 Vermont homes. Burlington-based VESCO, is the applicant.
