Making Connections Historical Organizations Showcase Promo 04/03/2025

Host Emily Brewer, CCTV, is joined by Carolyn Gould, President of the Chittenden County Historical Society and Jane Williamson, CCHS Board Member and former Director of the Rokeby Museum to discuss the upcoming Making Connections Historical Organization event happening on April 12.

The Milton Historical Society & Museum is super excited and proud to be organizing an event on Sat, April 12 from 10am-2pm at the Arrowhead Senior Center which will showcase to the public 25 Historical Organizations from our region including Chittenden County Historical Society, Burlington History and Culture Center, Ethan Allen Homestead, Vermont Historical Society, The 251 Club of Vermont, and many more. : ) This will be a GREAT way for folks of all ages to find out all kinds of cool information about local historical museums/organizations in the area - just in time for spring & summer!

Vignettes of Veiled Light Coming to Burlington City Arts 04/01/2025

Filmmakers and artists Myles David Jewell and Alexandra Morrow promote their event presented by Burlington City Arts, VIGNETTES OF VEILED LIGHT: A Love Letter to Burlington’s Total Solar Eclipse. The event will be on Saturday, April 5, 2025 with a reception and gallery at Burlington City Hall, and the Main Event in Contois Auditorium at 7:00pm. They are joined by Steven Heron, Town Meeting TV.

An evening of art, video, live music, storytelling, and community reflection invites the public to celebrate and reflect on the magic of that shared, transformative day.

Interview with Sam Kann - Plex Arts Festival 05/12/2023

Host Meghan O'Rourke interviews Sam Kann, Organizer of the Plex Arts Festival happening on Saturday, May 20th. Plex Arts Festival is a new, grassroots, immersive arts event in Burlington's Old North End that will take place on the evening of May 20th. The festival focuses on experimental and contemporary work. All art forms are welcome - dance, music, sculpture, tattoo art, food, comedy, pottery, theater, poetry, painting, crafts, video art, and other cross-disciplinary creative projects.
