With families spending more time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing household poisonings is especially important. Northern New England Poison Center educator Gayle Finkelstein addresses a few areas of particular concern during this brief presentation including children getting into medications and other household products, hand hygiene and hand sanitizer use, cleaning product safety, medication safety and food safety.

SAD is diagnosed four times more often in women than men, and younger adults have a higher risk of SAD than older adults. A panel shares their expertise on this pervasive disorder and offers tips for how to navigate the winter blues.
