Dr. Felicia Kornbluh is a Professor of History and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at UVM. Dr. Kornbluh is an American scholar, writer, and feminist activist. She has just released her nationally acclaimed book "A Woman's Life is a Human Life" the story of her mother and her neighbor and the journey from Reproductive Rights to Reproductive Justice.

In response to the National Call to Action from the Stop Cop City Coalition in Atlanta, GA, activists in Vermont rally and hold a press conference in solidarity, directed at Cox Enterprises to immediately divest from Cop City and cease their fundraising activities.

The City of Atlanta has leased 381 acres of Weelaunee Forest (the last substantial green space in the Atlanta area) to the Atlanta Police Foundation for a militarized police training facility funded by corporations. At the price of 90 million dollars, it includes a mock city to practice urban warfare, tear gas and explosives testing, dozens of shooting ranges, and a Black Hawk helicopter landing pad. Supported by the Atlanta Committee for Progress, which is composed of over 40 corporate elites including the CEOs of Coca-Cola, Home Depot and Cox, its aim is to further the surveillance of the population, stifling decent, and gentrification of the city.

Lauren-Glenn Davitian interviews Bianca Padilla, CEO and Co-Founder, Carewell and Beatrice Alvarez winner of ‘Caregiver of the Year’ about the family caregiver workforce.

They discuss the more than 53 million family caregivers in the U.S. More than half of them provided 40+ hours of care weekly while working full-time. As the country’s aging population grows, there is a pressing need to implement programs and benefits to support caregivers, the unsung heroes of family care.

Since 2013, he has authored 20 scholarly articles for the prestigious, peer-reviewed Journal of the American Revolution. Gene lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and two adult sons.
