Description
The Auer Family Boathouse is located at the mouth of the Winooski River and has served as a fishing launch, lake playground, dance hall and social mecca for many generations. Charlie Auer and sister Chirstine Hebert, have maintained the Auer Boathouse tradition. This years heavy run-off and historic wet spring, inundated many waterfront properties, including the Auer Family Boarthouse. Charlie and Christine share how the community has helped and what lies ahead for this one of a kind lake treasure. Joining the conversation are Local Motion's Island Line Coordinator Brian Costello and Seven Days Multimedia Producer Eva Sollberger.
