Description
Gerry Fox, a former President of the Chittenden County Historical Society, and a great Vermont railway history enthusiast, speaks on a little known spur of the B&L which was meant to cross the eastern side of SB heading for Hinesburg, but was never fully built out. This is part of a historical perspective on the City as South Burlington Town seperated from the new City of Burlington in 1865, and thus along with Burlington, South Burlington is celebrating it's 150th birthday as a municipality this year. First town meeting in SB was March 7, 1865. A program of the Chittenden County Historical Society - www.cchsvt.org
