Burlington, VT – Today, Mayor Miro Weinberger, members of the Administration, and community partners provide an update on the City’s response to COVID-19. Today’s briefing includes an update from the University of Vermont Medical Center, discussion of how the “box it in” strategy is working to contain the recent outbreak in Winooski and Burlington, reflections on continuing work for racial equity in the budget and policing, an update on the City’s supportive quarantine pilot program, information about testing this week, and other topics.
