The Burlington International Airport is hosting an open house egarding the updated CFR Part 150 Noise Exposure Map (NEM) on Wednesday, May 29th.

The Noise Exposure Map documents the airport layout and operation, aircraft related noise exposure and land uses surrounding the airport. Thisupdate will look at aircraft noise exposure for the years 2018 and 2023including data from the F-35s. The current FAA approved 2015 NEM represent calendar years 2015 and 2020 conditions.NoiseExposure Maps present current and future (5 years) aircraft noise contours and land use. This is an open house format with boards describing the study progress and the draft NEMs. No formal presentation will be made. Both verbal and written comments will be accepted. In addition, written comments can be submitted to www.BTVsound.com.

The consultant team will be available to answer questionsandsolicit public comments which will be included in the Study report.
