Description

The Greening Our Community Series was originally created as the Environmental Speaker Series in 1996. For 15 years as the series coordinator, Barbara Herson and others compiled an impressive line-up of speakers on a variety of environmental issues including global warming, toxic threats, alternative power sources such as solar and wind, organic gardening, sustainable building design and many others. In January 2012 Ken Mallory became the series coordinator, bringing a fresh new view to this popular speaker series on environmental topics. Fore more info, visit Green Decade website.
