Description
Treasurer Beth Pearce holds a public hearing in Burlington on the implementation of the Green Mountain Secure Retirement Plan. The meeting is an effort to solicit input from employers and the self-employed who could benefit from this program. A 2017 law authorized the creation of the Green Mountain Secure Retirement Plan, a voluntary Multiple Employer Plan (MEP) retirement option for Vermont self-employed individuals and employers of 50 employees or fewer that do not currently offer a retirement plan to their employees.
