At this Vermont Community Foundation event, Kathleen Merrigan, Former Deputy Secretary of the USDA, discussed food and agriculture policy, in the context of obstacles and opportunities for Vermont farmers. It was recorded at the Richmond Monitor Barn on Oct 24, 2013. Merrigan was introduced by former Vermont Agriculture Secretary Chuck Ross. The talk also included the thoughts of the Vermont Community Foundation's Foundation President Stuart Comstock-Gay and Janet McLaughlin, Special Projects Director, in light of the VCF's Food and Farm Initiative.
