Description
Host Brett Gaskill speaks with John McClaughry longtime president and now vice president of the Ethan Allen Institute. Vermont's very liberal Congressional delegation is all behind a push to amend the First Amendment to deny free speech to business corporations that might resist the expansion of big government.
Among other accomplishments - such as serving in the Vermont House and Senate and in President Reagan's White House - John has a master's degree in political science, specializing in constitutional law. He calls himself a Jeffersonian, which implies among other things a passionate defense of the Bill of Rights that Jefferson inspired. He joins Host Brett Gaskill by phone from Kirby, to explain the latest threat to our liberties.
