Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin (D), New Hampshire Governor John Lynch (D), Connecticut Lt. Governor  Nancy Wyman (D), and Massachusetts Lt. Governor Timothy Murray, discuss the importance of LIHEAP funding and why Congress must act promptly to fund LIHEAP at the highest level before adjournment.  Dave McCurdy, president and CEO of the American Gas Association, presents survey results on numbers of customers in arrears on heating bills (a 4.5 percent increase nationally).  Mark Wolfe, Executive Director of National Energy Assistance Directors' Association, presents results from another survey showing families with at least one member who has served in the military receiving LIHEAP funds increased 156 percent since 2008.
