Description

On January 16, 2017, ECHO, in partnership with the City of Burlington, hosts the 5th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration.

This FREE EVENT is part of a nationwide initiative to make MLK Day a "day on, not a day off," in which communities engage their citizenry in meaningful service and reflection. Each year, adults and children gather to explore issues of diversity and inclusion through story, song, and conversation. This year, we are proud to highlight our community's youth and recognize their leadership in advancing social justice and eliminating racism as part of the City's "My Brother's Keeper" program.
