Description
Governor Phil Scott and members of his administration host a media briefing on the dismissal of schools through the end of the school year and the “Continuity of Learning” order issued Thursday.
The Governor’s order dismisses schools for in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and directs school districts to establish continuity of learning plans to support distance learning, in consultation with the Agency of Education.
The Governor’s order also encourages school districts to continue to work with families to ensure childcare access for essential workers on the frontline of Vermont’s response to COVID-19.
