The Ethan Allen Homestead hosts a citizenship naturalization on June 21st, 2019. Fourteen citizen candidates from eleven different countries are administered the Oath of Allegiance by US District Judge Geoffrey Crawford. Following the ceremony, US Senator Patrick Leahy makes remarks and answers questions on topics including the agreement on $4.6 billion in emergency funding for the humanitarian crisis on the southern border, the Leahy-led pushback against President Trump's plans to inject himself into the annual July 4th celebration on the mall, and developments with Iran.
