Part of Burlington College's Institute for Civic Engagement speaker series. Attorney General Bill Sorrell will discuss current cases facing the State of Vermont including Vermont Yankee, police conduct regarding the use of tasers and police behavior in the face of civil liberties and civil disobedience. As Vermont’s lead law officer, Attorney General Sorrell will provide his insights into what it means to consider civil liberties in the context of law enforcement.
