A solemn ceremony at Camp Johnson, honors Fallen Members of the Vermont National Guard and the memories of three Vermont Guard members who died in the line of duty in Afghanistan. (Specialist Ryan Grady, Tristan Southworth, Sergeant Steven DeLuzio. The ceremony will be presided over by Governor Peter Shumlin, Vermont Adjutant General Major General Michael Dubie with representatives of Vermont's Congressional delegation, Gold Star families, soldiers and airmen of the Vermont National Guard in attendance.
