This Press Briefing took place before the Public Hearing described below.
This is one of two public hearings held, this one at the Eden Elementary school, for residents from around the Eden Asbestos mine to comment to and question the Vermont Department of Health, The VT Department of Environmental Conservation and the US Environmental Protection Agency after a released study showing possible statisitcal anomalies of asbestos related deaths and hospital discharges for a period from 1994-2005.
