Burlington Ward 1 and Ward 8 NPA Meeting 09/13/2017

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 1 & 8 meet the second Wednesday of the month.

Williston Development Review Board 09/12/2017

The Williston DRB consists of a seven member Board appointed by the Selectboard for staggered three year terms. This Board is responsible for reviewing and approving all proposed development projects. This includes conditional use, variance, site plan, and subdivision approvals. The Board also reviews Certificates of Appropriateness as recommended by the Historical Preservation Committee.

Community producer James Gero takes in the sights and sounds of the 25th Annual South End Art Hop. The South End Art Hop is a three-day event occurring on the weekend following the Labor Day holiday. Visitors are attracted to the South End artists' studios and to local businesses that are refit as art galleries and exhibition sites for the more than 500 participating artists. Sculpture, fashion, music, live demos, artist markets, juried show, Kids Hop, and much more!
