Select a few folks to record specific parts of your event, issue protest
1. Lots of cutaways - shots of the cars, signs etc. the visual images that tell the story.
2. Record someone who introduces the demonstration and provides commentary
3. Record any other speakers or additional commentary
 
To tell the story best, record someone explaining the why, where, how, and what of your event or issue.
Why are you there?
What are you asking or demanding?
What do you hope to have happen?
Who are you talking to (your audience)?
How can people get involved?
How can people learn more?
