Thirty three percent of eligible Essex Junction voters went to the polls on Tuesday, April 12th with the following results:

ARTICLE 1. Shall the voters approve an annual General Fund Budget in the amount of $6,310,015 for fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, $3,890,397 which is to be levied in taxes against the Village Grand list? Yes: 1880 No: 572 Blank Votes: 98

ARTICLE 2. Shall the voters authorize the Village of Essex Junction to maintain and administer an unrestricted fund balance of up to fifteen percent (15%) of the current year General Fund Operating budget, and require any amount over fifteen percent (15%) be used to stabilize subsequent tax rates?
