South Burlington School Budget Passes

South Burlington voters passed their school budget on the third try by a 40% margin with a vote of 3146 (yes) to 2067 (no). The budget, at $49,268,888, represents a 4.89 percent increase over the current fiscal year 2017 budget and a 1.2 percent decrease in education property taxes, according to district documents.
