Your Input Needed on Channel 17 - Comcast Contract Renewal

Channel 17/ Town Meeting TV will negotiate a new contract with Comcast Cable this year. What government access TV services do you want to preserve? What new ideas do you have to open the door to local government?

Community leaders and interested people are invited to attend one of two public meetings to weigh in on Channel 17 services and programs as we move into the next  3 to 5 or more years. The public meetings are slated for Thursday, January 28th from 3 - 4.30 p.m and Thurday, March 25th from 6 - 7.30 p.m.

Join citizens, activists and government officials to discuss the resources necessary to support the meaningful discussion of public issues and enable public participation on local issues? Does community media serve your needs today? What new ideas do you have to share? Your community needs and interests will inform Channel 17 Trustees budget proposal to Comcast for a new contract that starts on October 1 2010.
