Enter the 2009 DoGooderTV Nonprofit Video Awards - It’s a contest that highlights organizations that are using video to inspire and ignite social change. If your organization made a video – any video – in 2008, enter it. Winners will be featured on the NonProfit Times online, and will receive a Flip video camera, image licenses from Reuters and other great video tools. Prizes will be awarded at the Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) in San Francisco on April 26-28. Deadline is March 26, 2009.

Working Together for Success - Sharing the load with other “like-minded” nonprofits may mean success, or so says a report written by two Stanford Business School researchers. Management wisdom says that nonprofits must be large and in charge to do the most good. But some of the world’s most successful organizations instead stay small, sharing their load with like-minded, long-term partners. The success of these networked nonprofits suggests that organizations should focus less on growing themselves and more on cultivating their networks. Report attached.
