Burlington Mayor's Press Conference: Ceremonial Ground-breaking for Generational Upgrades to Wastewater Treatment Plant 07/10/2025

From the Mayor's Office:

Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak will be joined by ANR Secretary Julie Moore, Department of Public Works Director Chapin Spencer, Water Resources Division Director Megan Moir and officials from the VT Department of Environmental Conservation to announce the start to the first phase in Burlington’s generational upgrade to its Main Wastewater Treatment Plant. It is a ceremonial ground-breaking for multi-year wastewater treatment plant upgrades, along with a timeline of next steps.
