The Coalition for a Livable City holds a Press Conference in front of City Hall to discuss improprieties of the Public Hearing and Approval Process for the Downtown Overlay District zoning change required for the Town Center (“Mall”) redevelopment project.

On December 15th, the City Council unanimously approved a robust plan to engage the public around the redevelopment of the Burlington Town Center mall in the heart of downtown. The City will be using a public-private partnership with the new owner to implement the community goals outlined in the-3-years-in-the-making planBTV. The public process for this redevelopment effort is introduced at this meeting.
