Encourage noncitizen Vermonters to visit the O.N.E. Community Center for FREE legal education co-presented by attorneys from the Association of Africans Living in VT and Vermont Asylum Assistance Project and moderated by the State Refugee Office. We’ll present in English and Spanish at 10am, and in English, French & Creole at 1pm. Vermont Language Justice Project will record. More in-person and virtual events in other languages coming soon. Burlington Women's March on October 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. at City Hall on Church St. Join the fight for our future and freedom.

We rally in support of
(1) the Reproductive Liberty Amendment (Article 22);
(2) the passage of a shield law in Vermont to protect telemedicine workers providing reproductive services to people in states where abortion is restricted/banned; and
(3) Reproductive Justice for everyone.

Join us, vote for the RLA, agitate for a shield law, and organize to make reproductive justice a reality. It is time for solidarity. It is time to unite. It is time to rise up and protect our rights!

The People's Law School: The 4th Amendment - Understanding Your Rights When Stopped by The Police 04/07/2021

The kick-off of The People's Law School - a series of free, virtual presentations on contemporary legal topics impacting the lives of Vermonters, such as the Fourth Amendment, representing yourself in small claims court, tenant rights, understanding eligibility for benefits, and family law.

The People’s Law School is a partnership of Attorney General T.J. Donovan, the Association of Africans Living in Vermont (AALV), the Vermont Racial Justice Alliance, and the Vermont Institute for Community and International Involvement (VICII), and also supported by ACLU of Vermont and The Caroline Fund, which offers a fund for women and their families in emergency situations and free legal advice to anyone seeking guidance.

Town Meeting TV is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Fall 2025 cohort of the Neighborhood Community Media Internship program. Join up to 4 other youth to engage in interesting media making projects! This paid media internship opportunity is designed for youth aged 16-20 who are eager to gain professional experience in the audio-visual field and develop a deeper understanding of their local community.
